After concepting visuals for DIRECTV's corporate B-Day card (which arrives with a free OnDemand movie), I couldn't believe similar stock didn't exist — at least not that I was able to find — so illustrated the film strip-as-gift-bow as well as gift box seen here from scratch. Technique? Old-school Illustrator 3D 'image mapping' + Photoshop. A spot UV on the strip areas offered shiny, premium appeal.
